About Margot

With over 25 years of legal experience, Margot Hazard serves as a Senior Associate at MCB Lawyers, focusing exclusively on family law. Her comprehensive expertise encompasses separation and divorce, property settlements, parenting disputes, child support, spousal maintenance, and de facto relationship matters.​

Margot commenced her legal career at the Redfern Aboriginal Legal Service, Australia’s first free community legal center, where she gained invaluable courtroom advocacy skills. She then transitioned to commercial litigation at a leading Sydney firm, focusing on insolvency and bankruptcy matters, which provided her with a deep understanding of complex financial issues and corporate structures.

In 2013, Margot joined MCB Lawyers as a specialist family lawyer. Her dedication to achieving constructive and negotiated resolutions ensures that clients receive pragmatic and commercially sound outcomes.
