About Soraya

Soraya is originally from Kiama, and has relocated to Sydney’s Northern Beaches to join the MCB team as a Family Law Paralegal.

Soraya is currently completing her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Wollongong, balancing her university commitments with her role at the firm.

Soraya began her career with MCB Lawyers, gaining experience across criminal and commercial matters while also developing her knowledge in Wills and Estates, and Criminal Law. She has since transitioned into the Family Law department as a Family Law Paralegal, assisting with separations, agreements, parenting matters, and financial and property settlements.

Prior to commencing her legal career, Soraya developed a strong work ethic through roles in hospitality and singing commitments, including marketing, social media and supervisory responsibilities. These experiences have contributed to the communication skills and professionalism she brings to her role.
