About Daryl

With over 15 years as a NSW Police Officer, Daryl Cleofe brings extensive legal expertise to his role as Director at MCB Lawyers. His background includes investigating a wide range of criminal offenses and implementing Model Work Health & Safety (WHS) management systems within the NSW Police Force.​

At the NSW Police Prosecutions and Licensing and Enforcement Command, Daryl appeared before various judicial bodies, including local court magistrates and NSW Supreme Court Judges. He also collaborated with the Attorney General’s Department to ensure regulatory compliance and provided legal guidance on covert investigations.​

Transitioning to private practice, Daryl joined Clyde & Co, focusing on WHS, employment, and commercial law matters. He later co-founded Cleofe Parsons Legal and acquired CQ Legal, expanding his expertise into liquor and gaming laws, family law, and wills and estates.​

• Wills, Estates & Probate: Providing estate planning advice, preparing wills, managing probate applications, and resolving estate disputes.
• Criminal Law: Representing clients in criminal matters, drawing on his extensive background in law enforcement and prosecutions.
• Commercial & WHS Law: Advising businesses on corporate compliance, regulatory obligations, risk mitigation, and representation in Work Health & Safety matters.

Daryl is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and actively participates in continuing legal education to stay abreast of developments in his areas of practice.

Outside of his legal practice, Daryl enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid fan of rugby league and AFL.​
